From our house to the nearest ski area “Hoch-Kössen” (7 ski-lifts and 40 km of well-prepared slopes) it is only 5 minutes by car. You can also use a free ski shuttle.
Bigger ski areas in our region can be reached within 20 – 30 min. by car:

The area “Kaiserwinkl” is one of the most beautiful and best areas for cross-country skiing in Austria! Within 5 minutes walk you reach our 140 km net of cross-country tracks. Our region has been awarded for its special location and its guaranteed quality of accomodation and infrastructure concerning this attractive and healthy winter sport.
Our house is approved of its high quality concerning the service for cross-country skiers. Guests are informed about the weather and tracks conditions on a daily basis. Mrs Martina Keiler is a passionate cross-country skier and qualified teacher and will offer useful and competent advice on our cross-country offers in the region as well as on equipment and technique.
With your “Kaiserwinkl Card” you may use all public parking spaces close to the tracks for free. Moreover the use of our public transport system “Regio Bus” is included.

Winter hiking and snowshoe walk through dreamlike scenery...
You‘ll easily leave the everyday stress behind. We have prepared and signposted around 80 km of winter hiking trails in Kaiserwinkl.
Snowtubing
Snowtubing is speedy fun in the snow in the Kaiserwinkl. Speedy sliding on rubber tubes across two specifically prepared runs. At speeds of up to 50 km/hour you head down the mountain, and the ski lift brings you back up to the top again. Have fun!
